THEO: I believe you are fine. Can you briefly introduce yourself to us?
AISHA: I am Aisha A A Galadima
THEO: What's A. A. In between your names?
AISHA: Ashley Aitamunobomaba.
THEO: Tell us about your growing up.
AISHA: I am the 1st fruit of my parents, Alhaji Engr Buba Galadima from Yobe State and Bishop Deborah Ibim Alabraba from Rivers State. I was born in Maiduguri but I grew up in Port Harcourt.
By GOD's Grace I was born with a silver spoon even though my parents got separated, I grew up like the Princess that is the meaning of my name.
I went to the best schools etc, but unfortunately in the year 1998, 25th of January to be precise, I was involved in a ghastly motor accident, where my spine broke and my Spinal cord damaged, which led to my sitting on a wheelchair.
It happened in my year 2 in the university, I left school for few years, flew out of the country for treatment, came back and went back to school.
I got my 1st degree, continued and got my 2nd degree (MBA) in Business Administration.
I am very happy today because I am blessed with a handsome son (I call him Shona, meaning Sweetheart in India), the best parents especially my mum whom I called My World, and the sisters.
THEO: Which university did you attend?
AISHA: Rivers State University Of Science And Technology, Nkpolu. In Port Harcourt
THEO: And you did your masters there?
AISHA: Yes in the same university
THEO: Wow, that's interesting. So tell us a little about Shona's dad.
AISHA: Sorry, I really can't talk about that. It's too sad for me to talk about.
THEO: You mean both of you didn't get married?
AISHA: No we didn't. He took a walk
THEO: Is it because of the accident?
AISHA: I had him after the accident. It was ok to date me but not to marry me I guess (scared of responsibilities)
THEO: He from Yobe too?
AISHA: I really don't want to talk about him please
THEO: Talking about it can make you feel more better, don't you think so too?
AISHA: No please, I am not ready.
THEO: Ok, so where do you reside presently?
AISHA: Port Harcourt
THEO: With your mum and son?
AISHA: Yeah
THEO: Are you the only child?
AISHA: We are 4 girls from my mum,and 21 kids from my dad. I am the 1st child from both parents.
THEO: Wow, you mean your dad had a second wife?
AISHA: He has 2nd, 3rd and 4th (late) after 2 years although when my mum left him. Hope this will not be in the records?
THEO: Lol. You are funny. From the name of your dad he is surely a Muslim that mean you are Muslim too.
AISHA: I am a Christian but he is a muslim
THEO: How?
AISHA: I am an adult and I am allowed to choose my religion
THEO: Oh! So you were born as a Muslim and converted to christian?
AISHA: All these questions na part of the interview? (Warri Pigin English)
THEO: Lol, yes o. So tell us
AISHA: I am a Christian by choice.
THEO: Ok. So what led to your movie career?
AISHA: It's been my dream as a kid, so as an adult when I thought I was ready, tragedy struck (the accident) and I thought it was the end until I met a friend who is a director, Fred MayFord who told me it's still possible and he proved it by giving me a chance.
THEO: That's nice to know. So what's your first movie title and what role did you act?
AISHA: Actually it's not out yet, I acted the sub lead role, the director had some issues and is planning to make it a soap instead.
THEO: Fred mayford is the director or the producer?
AISHA: Both. A director and producer. Fred MayFord (DGN)
THEO: Where was the movie shot?
AISHA: In Port Harcourt
THEO: How did you cope with your health while shooting the movie?
AISHA: It was stressful, but I enjoyed it because it's what I love and have passion for
THEO: How did your mother took the news of your acting?
AISHA: She said if it will make me happy then I should go ahead
THEO: What about your dad?
AISHA: I don't stay with him, so he doesn't know about it and besides he doesn't have time to watch movies, but as I said earlier, I am an adult and free to make decisions as long as it doesn't affect the images of my parents
THEO: What if he find out, will he be happy with you?
AISHA: He will not be angry
THEO: Have you had any bad press as an actress?
AISHA: How do you mean?
THEO: I mean if the media had written any bad thing or negative thing about you as an actress.
AISHA: No
THEO: But you are aware that some actresses seduced producers to get roles
AISHA: I don't know how true that rumour is
THEO: What about producers who will not give role until they sleep with an actress?
AISHA: I also don't know how true that rumour is. No one has made advances at me before and no actress has complained to my hearing before concerning that
THEO: Who are your role models in Nollywood?
AISHA: Jennifer Eliogu and Ngozi Ezeonu
THEO: How will you rate Nollywood?
AISHA: Nollywood is growing fast. I am proud of her, although we have not arrived yet,
THEO: What advice do you have for Nollywood producers?
AISHA: Remain focus and always be ready to learn
THEO: Do you see your self growing from Nollywood to Hollywood?
AISHA: By GOD's Grace, but there is no place like home. If I get the opportunity I will grab it, but I will love to be part of those that will take Nollywood to Hollywood standards if not higher.
THEO: Good. What's your dislike?
AISHA: I hate lies with a passion
THEO: What about the things you love and like?
AISHA: Sincerity, straight forwardness, and above all I love to be around those who love GOD like I do

AISHA: Intercontinental dishes
THEO: Do you cook?
AISHA: Yes I do and I love and enjoy it
THEO: What's your best colours?

AISHA: Yes I drive but not with my legs, my car has its break, accelerator, etc by the steering. Everything I need to do with my legs, I do them with my hands. Hand control
THEO: That's good to know. What languages do you speak?
AISHA: English and Kalabari
THEO: You don't speak Hausa?
AISHA: No I don't, I am not hausa sha (truly)
THEO: But people from Yobe speaks Hausa. True?
AISHA: It's a general language for the northerners. I am Kanuri Fulani, from Gashua in Damaturu, Yobe State
THEO: Then you can speak Kanuri and Fulani languages?
AISHA: I can't speak my dad's language because I didn't grow up with him, but I can speak my mum's own because she brought me up

AISHA: Be yourself, do your job well and don't look down on anyone when climbing up that ladder of fame because without your fans you are nobody
THEO: What should the Nigerian Government do for Nollywood?
AISHA: They should support and assist them in any way they can
THEO: And the Private companies like banks and industries?
AISHA: They should also support and assist, I know it's not easy because of the high rate of fraud in the country, but they should investigate well and do the little they can
THEO: Do you have anyone in the mirror right now?
AISHA: Anyone in the mirror, how do you mean?
THEO: I mean if you have any man to marry right now.
AISHA: No one right now
