It was a calmed sunny day when Ifeanyi Stanley Igboekulie the son of late Mr. Samson & Mrs. Julia Igboekulie of Ukwu Akata in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State And Chidera Favour Pius the daughter of Mr. Adolphus & Mrs. Juliana Pius of Umuduru Ekwe Isu Local Government Area of Imo State got married on Saturday July 5, 2025, at Jesus Favoured Assembly Irete in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.
The lavish event was attended by over 250 guests, including few of Ifeanyi Igboekulie friends from Cape Verde and within Nigeria, and featured a large flower wall and fireworks.
Chidera wore a custom Givenchy gown, while ladies with uniform dresses serenaded the bride as she walked down the aisle.
A 20-foot wall of flowers was a prominent feature of the ceremony.
From besides the wall of flowers Ifeanyi Igboekulie family and siblings could be seen. These include Mrs. Julia Igboekulie (mother to Ifeanyi), Andy Igboekulie (Business Man, Import and Export), MaryJane Ijeoma Igboekulie (Actress, Producer, Marketer, Content Creator and General Manager of Genesis Nollywood TV), Ifeoma Igboekulie - Chidi (Business Woman), Ogom Igboekulie - Nnam (Business Woman), Uchenna Frank Igboekulie (Immigration Officer) and Uju Precious Igboekulie - Amanze (NAFDAC Staff).
Genesis Nollywood TV award winning musician ATB performed his top hit singles "Baby I Love You" for the couple as Chidera walked down the aisle.
The reception featured a seven-tier wedding cake and homemade strawberry sorbet.
Bridesmaids wore custom deep wine coloured gowns.
Chidera's dress: A long-sleeved lace gown by Givenchy.
Ifeanyi Igboekulie wore Gucci milk coloured mixed with black stripes smart suit, Italian shoe and a black boat tie to match.
A four-course meal catered by Madam As E Dey Hot in Imo. These included various "swallow" meals like Eba and Fufu, accompanied by soups such as Ofe Owerri, Ukazi with molded melon, Uha soup, and Onugbu (bitter leaf) soup.
Other dishes provide by Madam As E Dey Hot are the African-style salad known as Ugba (oil bean salad), Nkwobi (spicy cow foot dish), Oka (African breadfruit), Catfish pepper soup and goat meat pepper soup.
Jollof Rice with chicken salad alongside with fried rice and chicken were also provide for the guest.
With strong voice and energy, ATB also sang "Our Love Is Real and Jesus I Hail You". All ATB songs are produced and Directed by Theophilus Afe of Genesis Nollywood TV.
Immediately after the church service, the traditional wedding rite began with Ifeanyi Igboekulie and Chidera Pius in colourful Igbo attires.
The reception followed immediately at Mr. Pius compound, Umuduru Ekwe Isu Local Government Area of Imo State.
Fresh Palm Wine, which is an alcoholic beverage created from the sap of various species of palm trees such as the palmyra, date palms, and coconut palms was drank by the elderly and young men at the wedding.
