Chief Professor William Ose Odiete, PhD was a Lecturer/H.O.D. of Biological Department of the Faculty of Science, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos
Chief Professor William Ose Odiete later contributed to created and broke down the Biological Department into Marine Biology and Fisheries, Zoological Department, Cell Biology and Genetics Departments all in the Faculty of Science, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos.
Chief Professor William Ose Odiete, The Iroro of Okpe Kingdom was born on July 6th 1939 and died on October 4th 2025. He was 86 years.
