The mood at the Lekki Peninsula Hotel was cool and calm.
Papa sat at the chairman's position while Festus Tema Eluromma sat close to him.
The Assistant Director; Theophilus Afe sat before the Director; Richard Iboyi while others including Gift Godwin, Yvonne Chioma, Henry Emole, Joel Samuel Edeh, Tojack and Uwagboe Kelvin sat around them.
Festus Tema Eluromma aka MOG who is the producer said the opening prayer and everyone responded a big amen.
Papa G Introduces himself and others followed
With the agenda placed on the table, Papa G then went on to appreciate everyone present for coming to the pre Sisters Visa movie shoot meeting.
"Joel Samuel Edeh is going to stand in for the director for just days because the director needs to round up some jobs before joining us. So Mr Joel you are welcome and I appreciate you all for coming to the meeting" Papa G said.
"It's not easy for me to travel from The United States of America to Nigeria and also travel two states within. I just came back from Edo State"
"When I came, I have to check the hotel to know if it befits you all here and those that will be coming on Monday. I want to thank Tojack for us. For putting the hotel in place before I come" Papa G added.
"I have been producing movies in nollywood for over 15 years. I remember I was here (Nigeria) in 2019, 2021 and now 2022" Papa G said.
"Note it mind that I have a team and you are the people I am looking at right now" Papa G said
What we do here is that we hire directors to work with me team.
"So we have the D.O.P. is part of the Papa G Investment Company. He is in my team and he has the right to hire whosoever he wants to work with"
I also have my Production Manager Tojack and he also has the right to hire whosoever he wants to work it.
Kelvin is Office Manager. I am going to open an office here in Lekki and he is going to be running the office. If you are looking for a job, Kelvin is person to handle that.
"Next is the Assistant Director who is also the Continuity as well as the Blogger and Publicity Person. He does about 4 jobs with us. He is name is Theophilus Afe" Papa G said smiling and went on.
"Theophilus Afe does many jobs in this group (Papa G Films). He is going to be the Assistant Director to any director we hired. He also have the right to hire whosoever he want to work with. He will be in my job to negotiate with the director based on the budget I have. So it's our job to provide whatever the director needs"
"This movie is not like the regular movies you shoot here and send it to ROK and DSTV. By the Grace of God, we will premiere it here Nigeria, Dubai and the United States of America"
"And at that time part of the team will have to go with us for the premiere. I will have sponsorship for that"
The team present gave Papa G a round of applause while he continue with his wonderful speech.
Papa G lay more emphasis on Discipline, Co-operation thus working as a team but always stay on your line. He added Respect for one another as a great means of doing a better movie while shooting.
Festus Tema Eluromma then asked the director if he can work with 15 days or 8 days shooting schedule because he needs to let the actors and actresses know the right shooting schedule. Moreso, the shoot was map out for 8 days shooting schedule.
Richard Iboyi replied Festus Tema Eluromma and the general house that he will work with 8 days shooting schedule because he is also an editor and he is fast while shooting.
"I am fast in shooting. As an editor too I have the advantage of taking the right pictures with same quality. So 8 days shooting schedule is fine by me" Richard said.
Papa G and the team then agreed to work with 8 days shooting schedule.
Festus Tema Eluromma said the closing prayer and everyone responded a big amen just like the opening prayer.
