Trump says Clinton, Obama are ISIS group's 'founders'.

Image
Republican candidate Donald Trump roiled the US presidential campaign once again, with the jaw-dropping assertion Wednesday (Aug 10) that Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama "founded" the ISIS group. Addressing supporters at a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the real estate tycoon said the terrorist group is "honouring President Obama." "He is the founder of ISIS," Trump said, using a term for ISIS. "He's the founder of ISIS, okay?" he added. "He's the founder! He founded ISIS." "And I would say, the co-founder would be 'Crooked Hillary Clinton'," Trump shouted, over cheers and applause from the crowd. It was the latest disquieting utterance from the bombastic billionaire, who just one day earlier made comments interpreted by many as inviting gun violence against Clinton, the Democrats' presidential nominee. Trump appeared to suggest on Tuesday, possibly in jest, that Clinton or her Supreme C...

Buhari Has Totally Failed Nigerians - APC Leader

Image
A factional chairman of the rulingAll Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano state, Hussaini Mairiga on Monday, August 8, 2016 has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over failure to deliver his campaign promises to Nigerians. Mairiga who described President Buhari as a "total failure" said "from the look of things President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power." Mairiga also lamented the increasing cost of commodities explaining  most Nigerian families go to bed hungry even as others have fled their homes. He stated that those around the president (including his ministers) had refused to tell him the truth and advice on the reality on ground. Nigeria: Everything I Said About Marriage I Meant It - Pastor E.A. Adeboye

74-year General Overseer of the Redeemed Christen Church of God (RCCG) Pastor E A Adeboye has said that he meant every-word he said about marriage during the recently concluded RCCG 64th annual convention. Adeboye, who evidently was reacting to reactions that trailed his warnings to the youths of the church at RCCG 64th annual convention also said that his words are not for everyone. Adeboye wrote on his face book page on Wednesday "Everything I said about marriage I meant it. That is for everybody. Just like living holy and making sure you make heaven." Adeboye, worried about various reports of arranged marriages among brethren at 64th annual convention of the church which took place between 1st -- 7th of August warned that "no RCCG pastor should be seen to be involved in arranging marriages among brethren in the church. Pastor Adeboye who had earlier counselled the youths of the church on marriage, further warned saying "don't ever marry outside the church...

Aisha Buhari Did Not Travel To US, It Was All Scam -PDP

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has faulted the genuineness of the recent United States trip embarked upon by the President's wife, Aisha Buhari. The party maintained that, there is no proof Mrs. Buhari was indeed at the George Mason University or the US Institute of Peace - the two institutions she reportedly visited. The President's wife had travelled to the US last week where she was invited as a guest speaker at events in Washington DC. The US trip apparently proved allegations against her by the Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose wrong. The controversial Governor had claimed that she was evading arrest in the country over her involvement in the Halliburton fraud. “I challenge the president’s wife to visit the United States of America to convince Nigerians that she was not the Aisha Buhari mentioned in the judgment convicting William Jefferson,” Fayose had said. “It is on record that the president has visited USA three times and his wife did no...

Nigerians May Experience Another Hike In Petrol Price.

Nigerians should prepare for another increase in the pump prices of petrol, due to the continued scarcity of foreign exchange to finance the importation of the product, oil marketers have said. According to them, the United States dollar hit an all-time high last week, as it exchanged for N400 at the parallel market. Worried by the development, the marketers say if not urgently addressed, the pump prices of petrol will not remain at the approved rates. The Federal Government liberalised the downstream sector of the petroleum industry on May 11, 2016, and announced an increase in the pump prices of petrol from N86 and N86.5 per litre to between N135 and N145 per litre. It also stated that the market was to be driven by the factors of demand and supply, as it was now largely in the hands of private sector players. But oil marketers told our correspondent on Monday that despite the competition in the business, they were struggling to retain the price of the Premium Motor Spirit withi...

Pastor Adeboye Speaks on ‘Beard Gang’ and Marrying a girl who cannot cook

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has frowned at ministers of the gospel growing beards in the name of new fashion. “we are not owing anybody any salary. “I don’t want to see any of my pastors looking like fellows from the training camps of Al-Qaeda,” he said, stating that any elderly person who cannot show the noble journey for the youths in terms of dressing is not worthy to be described as an elder. According to him, the youths are young and they don’t know where they are going, but if you watch closely you will find that they don’t know where they are going, noting “they often look up to their fathers for direction but if a father himself does not know what he is doing then there something wrong. “The youths don’t respect an elder that looks like them. You are supposed to be their guiding light after they have fooled around,” Adeboye stated, saying pastors should be clean shaven at all times and must not in any way grow beards that will portray them as persons of different persuasion. He also...
