Genesis Nollywood Bar derived it's name from Genesis Nollywood TV, a Television Station which transmits online.
The purpose of opening Genesis Nollywood Bar according to the owner and C.E.O. Mr. Theophilus Afe also a Movie/TV and Musical Video Producer, Editor, Director, Blogger and Marketer, "ls to have a bar where Celebraties and Super Stars meet, discuss, watch Nollywood Movies, Football, Play boards games like LUDO, SCRABBLE, WHOT, MONOPOLY, DRAFT, CHESS, eats and drinks."
Genesis Nollywood Bar is mainly a queer pepper soup bar where all types of pepper soups are served. These includes; Catfish Pepper Soup, Cow Legs Pepper Soup, Cow Tails Pepper Soup, Cow Head Pepper Soup, Cow Beef Pepper Soup, Chicken Pepper Soup, Goat Head Pepper Soup, Goat Beef Pepper Soup, Goat Inner Organs Pepper Soup and alongside with White Rice Or Ekoh. (Made from corn)
Genesis Nollywood Bar is not left out with Sweet Fresh Tomatoes Chicken Strew with White Rice, Fresh fried Shrimps, Large Peppered African Snails, Grilled Chicken, Grill Catfish, Fried Noodles, Spicy Spaghetti with fried eggs or boiled eggs. Sardines or Can beef are not left out.
At Genesis Nollywood Bar you have the option of ordering Boiled Yam, Dodo, Fried Plantain Chips, Groundnuts, Shawarma, Scotch Eggs, Small Chops, Meat Pie and Cakes etc.

Genesis Nollywood Bar isn’t just one of our favorite mini bars in Surulere, it’s one of our favorite bars in all of Lagos State. Situated on the ground floor of a fantastically shady strip in Ijeshatedo, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.
The various flavours of different types of pepper soups prepared by Genesis Nollywood Bar is everything you want in a neighborhood bar: great crowds, cheap drinks, fantastic music, and zero lines. The space is small and dark, but there always seems to be enough room to dance uncontrollably in the front on the weekends. And the woodsy interior (yep, those are stumps for seats) is not nearly as dumb as it sounds.
