A suspected ritualist, known as Osa, has allegedly killed his girlfriend, Elohor Oniorosa, for money ritual purposes. The incident reportedly occurred on Christmas Eve somewhere in a suburb of Egor Local Government Area, Benin, Edo State, when the suspect allegedly invited the deceased to his family house, where he reportedly slaughtered her. Operatives of Edo State Police Command have launched a manhunt for the suspect. Though details of the murder still remain sketchy at the time of filing this report, but SP Kontongs Bello, the Edo Police Command spokesman, has confirmed the sad incident. A suspected ritualist, Bashiru Ajadi has been arrested by police operatives for allegedly killing and dismembering his girlfriend named Ashiata Salimon in Ajadi Arin village, in Ayedire local government area of Osun State after she paid a visit to the suspect. A man, Ifeanyi Njoku, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Precious Okeke, 24, in an estate at Badore, in the Ajah area of Lagos State.
