There was pandemonium in Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, after some teenage boys were caught burning the head of a girl, said to be in a relationship with one of them, for money ritual. The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a housewife, Motunrayo for allegedly murdering her husband, Alaba Bakare at Abule-Egba, Lagos. Reports have it that the couple were in a heated argument when the wife plugged a pressing iron and used it on her husband’s chest. The deceased who owned a hotel in Abule-Egba died from the wounds his spouse inflicted on him on January 14. People have given different account for the reason for the murder.
