A Teenager Slaughter His Girlfriend, Burn Her Head For Money Ritual In Ogun.

There was pandemonium in Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, after some teenage boys were caught burning the head of a girl, said to be in a relationship with one of them, for money ritual. In the early hours of Saturday, one Mr. Segun Adewusi, who is the community security guard, had observed that some four boys were burning something suspected to be the human head in a local pot on the road. Genesis Nollywood gathered that the security guard immediately alerted the police at Adatan station, who went to the scene to get three of the boys arrested as one had fled before police arrived. A source, who confirmed the incident to Genesis Nollywood, said the slain girl, identified as Rofiat, was a resident of Idi-Ape; she was a girlfriend to one Soliu, who is now in police net. House Wife Allegedly Kills Husband With Pressing Iron.

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a housewife, Motunrayo for allegedly murdering her husband, Alaba Bakare at Abule-Egba, Lagos. Reports have it that the couple were in a heated argument when the wife plugged a pressing iron and used it on her husband’s chest. The deceased who owned a hotel in Abule-Egba died from the wounds his spouse inflicted on him on January 14. People have given different account for the reason for the murder. Some claim Motunrayo found out her husband impregnated another woman while others say that during interrogation by the police, Motunrayo stated that their row originated from her husband’s refusal to sack a particular worker in his establishment. Police have sealed off the nightclub following the fire At least 16 people have been killed in a fire at a nightclub in Cameroon's capital Yaoundé, the government has said. The blaze was caused by fireworks that were lit while champagne was being served in the club, it added. At least eight others were seriously injured in the fire in the early hours of Sunday at Liv's Night Club. The fire engulfed the main room of the venue in the capital's upmarket Bastos district. "The tragedy, which was caused by explosions from the fireworks often used in these places, first consumed the building's ceiling, resulting in two very loud explosions, causing panic and a stampede," the communications ministry said in a statement.
